We love to celebrate the traditional Holidays here in Granbury, Texas, and the Christmas Holidays are especially magical! The Historic Granbury Merchants Association (HGMA) kicks off the "Night of Lights" Country Christmas Season each year with a Lighted Christmas Parade the day AFTER Thanksgiving. There are many spiritual and whimsical entries, ending of course, with Santa Claus. The most inspirational of all is experiencing each person lighting someone else's candle until all are lit, signifying the universal Spirit and unity during this very special Season!
Camelot Carriage Service is also on hand to delight you with carriage rides to and from your favorite Bed and Breakfast, as well as tour the square, and neighborhoods and parks nearby, with the promise of romantic lights and sights and sounds of The Season!
Preserve Granbury, Inc. continues the tradition of The Annual Candlelight Tour of Homes, the first weekend in December. Our home was honored to be on the tour both in 2001 & 2004. You will tour both historic homes, as well as new and unusual homes during the tour Saturday and Sunday.
New Year's Eve festivities in Granbury are also magical, with Granbury Riverboat and Granbury Live celebrations, as well as a Gospel Concert at the historic Granbury Opera House! Ring in the NEW YEAR with us in Granbury, Texas! The shopping, quaint shops, restaurants, and entertainment are sure to help you make memories for years to come!
